I had the same identical problem when upgrading to IE and OE 5. OE5 and Ie5
could not be run together without getting an out of memory error message.
It finally cleared up but I'm not sure that any one step I took solved the
entire problem. It was extremely frustrating.
it still remains a mystery but at least it cleared up. Here are some
suggestions
1. If you have Norton System Works or something similar, run this program.
I first ran Norton System Doctor letting it continually run for three days
straight. I then ran Norton Win Doctor, optimization Wizard as well as
Norton anti Virus.
2. reinstall Internet Explorer
3. Ran and installed Windows Updates to make sure all windows system files
and programs were current.
4. again reinstalled Internet Explorer 5.
5. Again Reinstalled JFW.
I've never had this problem again. These are just suggestions and not sure
fire cures. Grant
