Can't put jaws in sleep mode;

I'm running jaws and home page reader. When I try to put jaws in sleep
mode while the h p r has the focus I get a message which says, unknown
script called on to run jaws manager. When I unload hpr and let jaws
have the focus I can enter the configuration manager. I'd appreciate
any imut from anyone.
By the way, I've uninstalled both jaws and home page reader to no avail.
