I have been using McAfee 4.0x both at home and at work for a
long time and have had no problems at all. At work the
updates are done by the systems staff and at home I download
the updates myself. There have been some postings of
problems with the update process and JFW 3.31, I am still
refusing to use 3.31 at home so I have no experience with
these problems.
I have used the instructions from McAfee to make a test
virus and it was found easily and JFW worked quite well in
the box McAfee presented me on finding the test virus.
