Hi folks,
This time I think that I am going appsalotely nuts! Let me know if I am
crazy or not; hear I go. I am trying to write a script in AOL's Instant
Messenger to automatically turn on the default away message. I am using JFW
3.3135. The following is the code that I came up with to do this task.
Script AutoAwayMessage ()
SpeechOff ()
ActivateMenuBar ()
Pause ()
{F}
{A}
{D}
Pause ()
SpeechOn ()
EndScript
I asind the hot key of Ctrl+Insert+A to the Script. I filled out all the
rest of the edit fields in the script documentation but for some reason, the
script does not work. It compiles perfectly fine but when I try to run the
script nothing happens. I unloaded and reloaded JAWS a couple of times with
no success. JAWS acts like the script doesn't even exist. Even when I turn
on key bored help, the script isn't recognized by JFW3.3135. Then I tried
to put the same script with the same documentation in JFW3.3026 and it
worked perfectly fine. Any one have any clue on why this script wont work
in3.31 but works perfectly fine in 3.3? Am I nuts? lol THANKS!
