yes, netscape works with jfw and there are built in scripts for it.
to fix your problem though, you need to go to internet options,
programs, and tab over to the checkbox that says internet explorer
should check to see whether it is the default browser. then, close ie
and relaunch it and answer yes to the pop up.
That should fix your problem.
