Hi Dale,
Here is what you must do to spell check in Ms word 97.
1. Go to the top of the document.
2. Press F7 to open the spell checker.
3. Listen for the first mispelled word and the suggested replacement.
4. Tab once to the word replacement field. If the correct word is
showing, proceed to step five.. If the wrong word is showing, down arrow
to find the correct word.
5 Tab four times to reach the change field, press enter.
6. The spell checker will move to the next mispelled word, repeat the
above steps till all words have been checked.
7. When Ms word says spell check complete, Press enter to close the spell
checker.
