To all the AOL Instant Messenger users, I can't remember who asked about JAWS not speaking correctly the buddy list window. So I apologize for not responding to that particular message. What I have notest is that usually the buddy list window is in a restored state. When I maximize the window JAWS is allot more accurate in reading the buddy list. I was having the same problems of JAWS not reading names correctly or not reading them at all, but now that I always keep my buddy list window maximized, I have not had this problem as much.
