I cannot give you a definitive answer, but wonder if you are using
Eloquence? I had numerous lock-ups, not as often as you are experiencing,
and traced it to Eloquence on my system. I am using an external
synthesizer, and the lock-ups are much less frequent. I imagine, however,
that others use Eloquence, and I have not heard about the lock-up issues,
but that doesn't mean that others are not having difficulty. Others will
likely respond to your query. Good luck; it's frustrating, but hopefully
you can isolate and eliminate the problem.
