That sounds very much like a problem I am having.
Does the sound go 100% dead or can you still hear a tiny bit?
I can still hear a tiny bit if I turn the speakers up all the way.
Are you using Juno?
How do you get the sound back? On my system I need to go to the volume
controls window and even though they are at 100% I need to cycle the volume
and wavetable sliders down and up and then restart the system.
