Well, that would be fine but nothing seems to work except to close RUBY but
having done that all goes dead. Even the three fingered salute will not
restart anything, and the ding ding ding about once per second just goes on.
Well that isn't exactly true, I have not been able to reproduce the problem.
With JFW silent I can't say what else is going on, possibly the blue screen
of death. It is gratifying to know it is not unique to my system though!
