Hi, I am trying to install a Dec-Talk express using the Dec-Talk drivers
supplied with the Dec-Talk express. Here is what I have done.
1) I have disabled com1 in win 95
2) I installed the Dec-Talk drivers
3) I installed jfd, and am calling jfd from the autoexec.bat file. I put
the werd pause after the Dec-Talk batch file and before jaws is called.
4) I installed jfw 3.3.22, choosing Dec-talk for windows 95 or 98 only.
5) jfw wanted me to install msaa on the computer, so I did.
6) When I restored the computer, the Dec-Talk gave me it's welcome
messagesaying that all is cool, jfd came up speaking good, but when jfw came
up, it was skipping every other word, or not speaking at all. When jfw
first started speaking, it spoke correctly, but soon stopped speaking
correctly, like I said, it would say every other word, or not at all.
If anyone has any ideas on how to get Dec-talk to speak correctly, please
