Hi folks,
I am having a problem with JFW 3.3135 and MS word 97. Any time I go to
close a document and press yes to, do you want to save changes? Jfw
crashes. When I check my faultlog.txt file, this is what it says "JFW caused
an invalid page fault in
module ENU.SYN at 015f:0255914a.". I also once got another crash that said
"JFW caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 015f:bff7684". This era message was caused in the
same way. I don't think that it's jfw itself that is crashing, but I think
it has something to do with eloquence. If I try to start JAWS again,
nothing happens. Even if I try to run 3.3026. I wind up having to reboot
my computer. The funny thing is that this does not acur with JFW 3.3026; it
only happens with 3.3135. My computer is a p2 400, with 128 megs of ram. I
am using a sound blaster PCI512 sound card. When I called HJ, they told me
that it was probably because of the sound schemes that I had on my computer,
but that doesn't make sense to me because 3.31 doesn't crash any where else
but word. Also, this doesn't happen in 3.3. I don't think the problem
stems from word because the eras that I am getting are not winword eras.
Maybe it has something to do with my virtual memory? I am just trying to
throw some ideas around. If any one has any ideas on what is causing this,
please give me feedback. THANKS!
