restore the document when reading. I found that Ruby reads
better that way. I wish there was a way to keep it permanently
restored.

Subject: Speech jittering in Ruby
Hi guys! I'm having this really annoying problem with
Arkenstone Ruby.
Whenever I hit the insert key to let it just read, so I don't
have to keep
pressing the down arrow, the speech synth reads pretty well for
a few
minutes and then starts getting stuck. It sort of breaks off in
the oddest
places, and goes silent for sometimes minutes at a time. I
don't think it's
anything to do with not having enough ram available, because I'm
usually
reading in Ruby with everything else except JFW closed. I DON'T
KNOW WHAT
TO DO! It's finals week here at my university, and I'm about to
bang my
head against my desk!
If anyone has any suggestions, short of keeping my head intact,
I'd
appreciate them.
thanks very much.
Merry Christmas, happy Hanukka, happy New Year!
Amanda
