You will need at least Service Pack 4 to work correctly with JFW.

Subject: JAWS NT and GroupWise 5.x

Hi:

I have a client who needs to use Novell GroupWise on a Compaq desktop
computer [Matrox video card and driver] with JAWS NT. I have looked at the
archives for the list and found some useful information, but nothing related
directly to JAWS NT.

If we let JAWS NT install and Dr. JAWS runs through it's stuff, it changes
the display to 8 bit which allows the applications to work fine, but
prevents GroupWise from working. If we install the Service Pack 3,
PowerPoint doesn't work well [parts of it are missing off the screen], there
are general icons missing and blacked out on the desktop and when we launch
GroupWise 5.x all of the icons are "invisible" [if JAWS finds them it just
reads "button"]. It appears that With JAWS NT we either have GroupWise or we
have access to the applications?

Will the GroupWise scripts for JAWS 3.2 work with JAWS NT?
Is there a way to get the initial login read? [once the computer starts, you
have to press Control + Alt + Delete to get to the login dialog box]
We have to be able to use the Calendar function in GroupWise - it is a
shared scheduling office - is this possible?

If this has been dealt with before and I just haven't found it on the list
archives, you can e-mail me privately at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Karen
