Hi All,

QB1 is an interactive game available as part of the NTN network which can
be found at

http://www.qb1.com

QB1 allows you to play along with selected NFL games by attempting to
correctly call the next play of the game. Basically, you guess whether the
play will be a run or pass, and can further specify if it will go to the
left, middle or right, and in the case of a pass whether it will be short
or deep.

Making these guesses involves clicking on buttons in a little Java applet
that unfortunately JFW doesn't recognize. This is not a negative against
JFW but rather the design of the web site. However, by using the JFW
moveto command I've created a few scripts, which you can add to Internet
Explorer to play the game.

The NTN web site isn't overly screen reader friendly but if you've dealt
with that sort of issue in the past, getting to the point where you can
create a username and password and play the game is doable.

These scripts are very preliminary and were created at a screen resolution
of 800 x 600 with IE set to full screen mode. I mention this because
basically all the scripts do is move the Jaws cursor to different screen
coordinates and then issue mouse clicks.

You'll still have to use the Jaws cursor (best to turn off the virtual
cursor) to explore parts of the QB1 screen, such as what the official call
was and your score. Setting JFW to Say All and use of the control key also
works.

Given that the NFL season is pretty much over I'm probably not going to
work on these scripts too much. For all I know they'll change the screen
layout for next year. But if you'd like to give them a try visit

http://www.teleport.com/~kford/qb1.txt
for the list of scripts and such.

If you are not comfortable with adding scripts to an existing JFW file,
adding keystrokes, and in general exploring the screen with the Jaws
cursor, please don't get these scripts. At this time I can't provide any
support for what I've done and am basically sharing these because they work
here and it took a bit of time to click around getting the correct screen
coordinates so I figure if someone else can benefit, they might as well
give these a test.

There might be a better way to accomplish what these scripts do so if
anyone has ideas, feel free to create scripts and share them.
