Your comments are interesting. At my work place, we are still using JFW
3.0 with Windows NT. We have never been able to have JAWS running while
logging onto the network. We have to type very carefully to log on so as
not to make any mistakes, wait for the computer hard drive to stop running,
and then start JFW with alt-control-j. We have had even more disastrous
results when we have tried to upgrade JFW and the Windows NT service pack.
It seems to be no big deal to get JAWS up and running with a stand-alone
computer, but weird things happen when you try to introduce a network into
the mix. Guess that's one of those things that makes working with computers
such a challenge.
