I have never witnessed such a double standards in political arena, which are being demonstrated by the Left. The leaders claim the nuclear deal would damage sovereign foreign policy of the country. As an independent country, we should look forward to a relationship, which would pay in long run, but not make ourselves imprisoned in an ideology, which is obsolete in present era. Why does the Left smile when India goes to talk with China, whose credibility as a faithful neighbour has always been in question. The ideology cannot be based on a foreign policy. The people who were at the helm of the affairs were competent enough to envision the greater benefit through strategic alliance. The Left is creating cacophony unnecessarily. Who needs this kind of political parties?
