You are absolutely right. For Tatas, it is “Hands Off Singur”.
But, for the people displaced and uprooted from Singur, it is “Hands in Singur”!
For the brave young Tapashi Malik, it is the good old “LAL SALAAM”!!
Finally, in these distressing times of bomb blasts, bloodshed and encounters,
let us all shout in unision: JAI HIND!!!
While Mr. Ratan Tata is wondering about where have Mamta’s funds for the
prolonged agitation come from, let us tell him that these are surely neither
from Dow Chemicals (whose cause of acquittal from Union Carbide liability in
Bhopal he has unashamedly advocated before the Govt. of India) nor from
President Bush’ US $ 700 billion bailout plan.
