Cynthia, you have just forwarded this message. But have you done your homework ? Can you cite any violent communal activity from 2003 to 2007 ? If any, they would have been the Hindus getting thrashed. For your information, the RSS is an Umbrella for hundreds of organization. They will obviously raise money everywhere. If world vision can collect from Indians by way of cricket match sponsorings, why not Hindus collect from Hindus ? RSS operates in child education for tribals in Ekal Vidyalaya- more than 10000 schools ! They teach Sanskrit and have taught spoken Sanskrit to lakhs of Hindus and Americans ! They run a number of schools, colleges, Cow Shelters, Orphanages, rural research institutes, yoga schools and what not ! They are the first to reach out in case of a calamity. Contrary to common belief, I have found the RSS cadre excellently behaved and straightforward. Even a small boy is called with the respect due to an elder. There is absolutely, absolutely no caste division. Well, I feel that the NRI Indians haven't given enough for the Hindu organizations. The Hindu child needs good religious education, good food, confidence to face life and needs a good life enriching education. RSS knows this well and has plans to put this into practice. Venkat
