This is India, where a tribal CM doesn't guarantee development for Tribals. In Orissa, some tribals shedding crocodile tears for tribals while they can force the Government to act on behalf of tribals by mere threat to withdraw support. Today's coalition partners don't lose any single opportunity of blackmail and it was infered that 'Orissa Tribal Leaders' are power hungry. Persons like Lalu Yadav, Guruji should have given political death by people after their open corruptions;but still people express sympathy for the 'chair hungry' Guruji. What did Guruji did to the 6 crore money received from Shri Narashimha Rao ? Ask their 'Chelas' - they will say Guruji deposited in UBS, switzerland. The tribals, unless come out of then den and get educated, would be cheated by every one, whether tribal or non-tribal. Previously Indira Gandhi, Rajeev Gandi, Sonia Gandhi all visited tribal areas and photographed with some poor tribal family. Latest being Rahul Gandhi. A Tribal Civil Society consisting of Tribal professors, Tribal IAS etc. should be formed, which should work with the Ministers/IAS to seek development funding for their area.
