The reply had a personal touch because the matter from you had. Anyway I admire
your way.
Let me say that so called 'Brahminism'( in of the context of Hindu society) has
been used by those historians and others who want to see it fragmented on the
basis of many thngs including caste.

I have never attended any caste meetings in my college days and after and in a
way others think for but whether Brahmins too not have their rights due as a
normal citizen and part of siciety is a mtter which must be addressed by those
who  used Brahminical sciety etc.

Mayavati may look ideal to many but any idole made on the basis of dishonesty
does not stand long. And I feel these may not be examples of independent
feminine political development, maybe Mamta and Uma's examle were better though
ill sustained due to their behavioural problems which are not uncommon for a
single lady from the pychologica perspective.
PM or CM has hardly any long time say in natinal history..who knows the names
of all persons who ruled Delhi? 'Indira wassaid to be daughter of Mahatama
Gandhi by a student appearring in UPSC and so on...
