Dear friends, We are bring to you the story behind the killing of Lakhiram Tudu a Santal Adivase and one of the activist of Jharkhand Ulgulan Manch that took place on 6th December 08. The people are resisting a thermal power plant and a captive coal mine. Their resistance contributes much more to the fight for reduction of carbon emissions even though they may have not heard of the term climate change.
