Media 2day is a commercial oriented organisation. The editors/ owners are more
intrested about their political carreer or money they would make. Journos are
small fries in the entire process.
being a grassroot reporter for local & national dailies, i have found my
editors enjoying privileges from the very people who were exposed by me. Though
Journos are supposed to fight against exploitation through their pen, they are
most exploited lot. We are never paid for reporting from the districts & still
the editors expect us to travel & file stories.
As regards hurting some people, well that is the 1st rule of the game. But then
it is necessary evil we can't live without
