THese songs bring a certain derogation and cheapness to the character. I am sure most of them are sung by the heroine of the film who has no message or role to carry except that of a cheap semi dressed enchantress and seducer.Our girls who are now entering every bastion of life must be portrayed as having more substance than this.
It isnt just the songs, nowadays the media portrays its women characters as almost vampish by showing them in negative roles in every soap opera that we see on TV. It is a very negative influence on the society as these women scheming and untrustworthy that they are are becoming the role models for us . In the sense that if every TV serial has such wives or daughters in laws it leaves no ideals for today's girls to follow or emulate. THese portray the family and the house as something to be fought ovver with dirty schemes and the worst is that the same women are shown as winners in such schemes. A lot of class has now entered our films.THis phase of cheapness too will pass . THanks roopa
