Managed to get in using ssh under cygwin; but - as I suspected - that's as much as I can do without more knowledge! I can see nothing about RetroBrowser in /usr/share/jive/applets, so I guess that it's not being installed... though I could've guessed that from it's non-appearance in the list under Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer, and from the error message in the SqueezeCenter log (reported in my previous post).
I've unpacked the RetroBrowser zipfile in (C:\Prog Files\)SqueezeCenter\server\plugins; was that the right place? Would it be enough to copy the contents (persumably with the zipfile in RetroBrowser\jive unzipped) into /usr/share/jive/applets by hand? (Not that I know how to do that, even... and I'd really rather get the Applet Installer to work anyway...) -- Brian -- Brian Ritchie ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Brian Ritchie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2319 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43659 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
