The skins in 7.4 appear to have been put together with a fair bit of thought so all I had to do was change the values where "Framework:setVideoMode" was called. I did define SCREEN_WIDTH and SCREEN_HEIGHT constants at the start of the applet file though as I could then use them where needed for absolute positioning layout stuff.
