When you use the ProxyControl to record a test script, it creates a bunch
of individual Web Testing elements in your test plan, each of which has the
name "Web Testing". I'm thinking that this would be quite a bit easier to
read if the names were chosen to reflect the URL being sampled - perhaps
the terminal part of the filename, with or maybe without the file
extension.
Does anyone else think this would be a good idea, and, if so, any ideas on
how to do the naming? I'm thinking of complicated naming situations where
you're sampling a URL that has parameters and other stuff appended to it.
I think it would be pretty straightforward to implement this if we can come
up with a good naming system.
