I think it has something to do with an add-on we created. I don't have
the add-on at the moment, but will install it and let you know.
Hopefully this will solve my problem.

What version of JMeter did you use to create the JMX files?

As far as I know, all the 2.0.x versions are upwards compatible, and I
thought V1.9.x was too.
