hi Miguel,

can you please clarify what you mean here?  I don't use Jmol.js, preferring my 
own home-grown solutions that sprouted up previously.  hopefully Jmol.js will 
not become required in the future?

bozos being a relative term, of course ;-)

the great thing about X is you can always access the UNIX core.  launch 
Terminal and you can configure the firewall using the ipfw command.  the 
PreferencePanel is designed for easy on or off - and not necessarily for 
development purposes.
