Arghh.

I did not even realize that the mouse driver could control the number of
scrolling units per click ... I thought that it was hardwired to 1 ... :-(

I want to try to replicate what you are seeing ...

Q: Are you running on OSX?

I have probably never even tried the wheel mouse on OSX

Q: What brand of wheel-mouse are you using?

Q: What is your mouse wheel setting?

OK. That makes sense.

But for me, 3 or 4 clicks does not get anywhere near the upper limit.
