I will take a look at it later. It may be due to the last update of the applet in the web page. In reply to Douglas H Mason who wrote: > The examples here: http://jmol.sourceforge.net/scripting/ do not appear > to be working (the applets display just the 'red x'). Thanks for spotting this, Douglas. These are old examples, but they should work. I will take care of it this evening. > Also, when I try > to use the example code on my pages, they only work if I do not put the > jmol files into a subfolder (i.e. folder named 'jmol' below root). Please, read the documentation. It should be clear enough in several places that, as Frieda has pointed out, for local disk use you must have the molecule files together or below the applet files. So, you can either have Jmol at the root or you must put the models below it, e.g. at jmol/models/ Please, check out http://jmol.sourceforge.net/demo/ particularly, "Examples of applet using Jmol.js" where the code details are explained (clearly enough, I hope; if not, please drop me a note with suggestions) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
