Hi all, Making it disabled by default seems to defeat the purpose to me. The console window is only 2 clicks away after all. I would vote for some sort of visual cue. Maybe when the user starts typing, a small text box pops up with a caption along the lines of "Script: (Esc to cancel)". It would give the user a chance to spot a typo and could lead to more people discovering this awesome feature by accident. More importantly, those who don't use it will see how to dismiss it immediately. Chris Foley. However, I can foresee problems with people accidentally typing things in, especially on web pages. |
