Hi, I am very new to Jmol, so I apologize if this is a naive question. I would like to highlight parts of my protein molecule where two amino acids of my choice occur consecutively.
For example suppose I am interested in all occurrences of the string [Ala][Glu] in my protein sequence. I tried the select ALA and select GLU, but this selects all Alanine and Glutamine residues and not only the parts where Alanine is preceded by Glutamine. I think the select() function should help me, but I am not able to figure it out.
