Sorry, I didn't test it.
According to the doc, the sequence is the first parameter. The second is
the atom set on which the search will be done. Try just * or "all":
select within ("AE",*)
select within ("AE",all)
--I read it, but I thought it could be omitted--
If you want to run the search only on chain "A", then
select within ("AE", *:A)
and so on
