I like how minimalistic this control is (though having larger colors or a magnifier like you suggest would help a lot too; I thought the squares were too small to easily and quickly be able to select a particular color while standing up at a computer in front of a class with a mouse that was a jumpy :). There are other options for a full-featured color picker, if that is what is wanted. For example, in Sage, we include the following color pickers: http://www.eyecon.ro/colorpicker/ http://code.google.com/p/jpicker/ http://acko.net/dev/farbtastic (this blog post lists lots of other options: http://johndyer.name/post/2007/09/PhotoShop-like-JavaScript-Color-Picker.aspx) Thanks, Jason ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Jmol-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jmol-users
