I'm happy to have helped and that you understood what was going on --and 
explained it so well.

It looks clear and of course correct. I had never realised about sending the 
"link" to the server. And I've alwasy worked with loading existing files, not 
inline models.

Apart from all, I think that what you want may well be there if you change to 
using the signed applet. Have you tried that? It has a File > Save submenu in 
the popup menu. I have no idea what it will do woth modified models and inline 
models.

And please feel free to add your explanations to the Wiki if you think they 
will help. What is there was probably my description (long time ago).
