Yes. Bob uses the uppercase to put emphasis in the doc, but everything is 
case-insensitive.

You are wholly right in that description. We think mainly on the model 
rendering, the other features came later. And it has become one the strong 
and unique features of Jmol vs. other molecular viewers, I might say.

Regarding the list of "programming" commands, you may not need to be an 
expert. If you can identify the single commands that belong in that category, 
we could start by making a list. I'd be happy to help. If you sign up in the 
wiki, 
we may start a draft page for that.
On the good side, Bob has made most of the syntax for those to closely 
match the one in JavaScript and Java as far as possible, so it is not hard to 
learn.
