yes it could be a problem loading. Are you using
Jmol.setAppletSync = function(applets, commands, isJmolJSV) {
Jmol._syncedApplets = applets; // an array of appletIDs
Jmol._syncedCommands = commands; // an array of commands; one or more
may be null
Jmol._syncedReady = {};
Jmol._isJmolJSVSync = isJmolJSV;
}
There's no equivalent function in the old Jmol.js. Jmol.setAppletSync let's
you schedule scripts that run only when BOTH applets are ready, ensuring
that no sync communication happens before everything is ready. I didn't
need that on the sync2 page because no syncing is done there until the user
clicks. But I use it at
http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/jspecview/jsvtest.htm, where it looks like
this:
jsvApplet = "jsvApplet";jmolApplet = "jmolApplet";// applet ids and
commands to give only when all applets are ready;// also sets up a
script sync pathway for Jmol/JSpecView.Jmol.setAppletSync([jsvApplet,
jmolApplet], ["load acetophenone.jdx", null], true);
You would use "false" for that third parameter, since it's not a
Jmol/JSpecView connection that you are using.
