I'm seeing the same results as Phil, but I cannot test the java applet
right now.

I should note that I was an early Mavericks updater, so I'm working with
Safari 7.0.

On Chrome, I'm still getting the alert screen that warns about the binary
file request. The minimization related links are also broken on Chrome.
