Eric and Angel- With JSmol running locally on my Mac in Safari (14.3.6_2014.08.14) via double click, I can successfully drop/load a molfile. I cannot drop/run a script. BUT I can weasel a script in by using the 3rd line in a molfile trick - e.g.:
jmolscript: select all; color pink I do not know if a script can be tucked into a pdb file, and I can’t find the Jmol doc discussion of this, but Angel probably knows the answer. BUT, BUT, none of this works unless I have Safari set for Develop/Disable Local File Restrictions. It also works in Chrome if I start Chrome from the terminal using a previously disused local file start up of Chrome. This all also works for server based JSmol.
