Security Analytics Specialist Requisition #201018898 Security Security Grade 34 Relocation Assist Available No ATLANTA, GA Job Summary This position is seeking an individual with a background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Industrial Engineering who would like to advance his/her career at a Fortune 500 company. Preferred skills in Coldfusion and SQL. The Security Analytics Specialist will use external/internal business intelligence to assess risk across geographies, products, countries and lanes. The Security Analytics Specialist reports to the Supervisor. Job Duties and Responsibilities Analyzes and Evaluates Data * Coordinates with work groups to obtain necessary data and parameter settings * Evaluates data to ensure accuracy and appropriate format * Reviews results with workgroups to ensure output is acceptable * Adjusts parameters, inputs data, and re-runs model * Interprets results to ensure proper understanding of what the model produced. Supports Existing Optimization Tools/Models * Determines if model changes are necessary to make tool produce desired results * Recommends changes to models to ensure the tools produce the desired results * Solicits feedback from users to ensure changes are working Creates Data Analytics Models * Examines requirements to understand the type of model needed * Researches methods to determine the most effective approach to solutions * Recommends solution methods to resolve issues * Tests solutions methods to ensure accuracy * Provides alternative methods to provide desired results from the model. Integrates Optimization Models into User Interfaces * Confers with software development groups to establish requirements and obtain test data * Defines how the model should be incorporated into UPS systems * Works with user groups to refine requirements and output to obtain desired results.
