What is needed conceptually is a date to go with the time, so one
solution is to build a LocalDateTime then work toward a duration from
two times which fall on one or two dates.

When picking appropriate Dates, you might wish to consider the case
where start is 'after' end. Should then the start date be tomorrow
(+1), today (same as end) or yesterday (-1)? It probably depends on
your application.
