Well,

First of all thanks Abdullah for arranging the meeting, consider me in.

Second of all, I am with Ali, google calendar can help into setting up meetings, or if our website is still working we can announce the meeting there, but I also support Husam, so until we find a proper way, this is our only mechanism for announcing meetings, so please everyone be patient and instead of reacting start proacting and help into finding another way.

Third thing to say, regarding the time, 1 pm or 6 pm, I would go with both,  I would suggest to have 2 meetings a month, one at 1 pm fridays (for day-active people), and the other one at 6 pm saturdays (for night-active people), by that if someone cannot attend the day meeting, then he can attend the night meeting and vise-versa. ( e.g. first friday of the month, and third saturday of it).

Finally, I would like to see as much as possible of you guys on friday, to discuss this issue, and many other issues, such as METS and other things, and let us get the heat back again in the JoLUG as we had it a year ago.

Last thing to say, please start turning off your gmail notifier for the coming couple of days, since the mailing list is going to be under spammers (jolugers) attack :-)
