stick with Debian and Debian based distros, here is a list for who is using Debian (http://www.debian.org/users/#com), you can also add your self as a Debian user go here if you want (http://www.linuks.mine.nu/debian-worldmap/ ). 1023 "as far as i know!" developers worked on Debian from the beginning ages until now and they have never seen each other for more than 10 years!!!, Debian is just an amazing human effort!
