to give VISTA a good credit; they took the good things from LINUX and added their flavor. For example you don't login with admin priviliges anymore they are using something that resembles the SU command. Their exchange Mail server 2007 is becoming more like a UNIX/LINUX mail daemon and they introduced a power shell; they are copying LINUX guys and just to be fair they are improving. However; I can't judge whether VISTA is becoming close in temrs of security to LINUX we have to wait minimum 2 years to be able to judge.
