yes but when you add their OS into the domain; you don't have the same priviliges you usedto have before even if the account is admin ! imagine? you have to login using something that resembles SU to be able to start services or certain critical applications. They are improving their security policy but I can't judge before 2 years. It has to prove itself.

And as long as they do NOT seperate the administrator and user account (most people only have the first account on their machines, they do not force you to have one admin account and one user account), then their entire security paradigm well amount to shit. Ammar, Step one get people on windows, step 2 prove symantec is better :-p On 3/22/07, Nicola Musa <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > wrote: to give VISTA a good credit; they took the good things from LINUX and added their flavor. For example you don't login with admin priviliges anymore they are using something that resembles the SU command. Their exchange Mail server 2007 is becoming more like a UNIX/LINUX mail daemon and they introduced a power shell; they are copying LINUX guys and just to be fair they are improving. However; I can't judge whether VISTA is becoming close in temrs of security to LINUX we have to wait minimum 2 years to be able to judge. Ofcourse, i'm a conspiracy theory lover, so take it with a grain of salt. On 3/22/07, Jad madi <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > wrote: isn't it ? Sucker-punch spam with award-winning protection.
