Salam All, I came back from Aleppo (7lab) / Syria last week, they had this fantastic FLOSS conference where many people attended (R. Stallman made a pre-recorded speech and we had a 30 minutes over-the-phone session with him). (http://www.scfloss02.net/index.htm)
Ubuntu 7.10 and Fedora 8 were made available and many people got copies of F8 distro. Everyone was extremely excited, even those who didn't believe in linux at the beginning. This reminds me with the installation feast we talked about more than a month ago. I admit to share part of the responsibility for it not happening as I was away. But late is better than never, Guys who ever is interested, lets take it into the next level, call me on my mobile or pass your mobile number over so we can discuss. I am open to have a gathering to discuss this either at freesoft or any other place you choose. we shouldn't let it take long discussions, lets meet and then do it!
