i have to start with TCP/IP documentation, but i need to know how to get and
read that documentation ? note that we are 2 in project, what is the expected
duration that is needed for the project ?
  could i finish it ?
i need to use java to do that, what do you think about that ?what are the

Hello Inas,

Don't panic, implementing a synflood protection module isn't as hard
as it seems, you can start by reading the following document

http://netfilter.org/documentation/HOWTO//netfilter-hacking-HOWTO.html

it has all the info needed to get you started, if you still can't
figure it out I'll try looking for the code of the firewall, it's been
four years and I don't think I still have it.

on a side note, don't tell me the graduation project is due this
semester, 30th of Dec is a bit too late to start 'researching' the
subject :\
