HI i am new here and i wanted to introduce myself
I am Emran Etier 16 years old i am living in amman ----> Abo Nseir
I was born in Germany And lived there for 13 Years
My hobbies : Playing PSP,Surfing in the net and Reading
Things i like: My littler Brother and my PSP ^^ This GRoup
Things i dont like : People who dont wanna change things in their life
( like most jordanian People look below for more info )
Things I want to learn: Programming with Linux
I came to linux by a german Friend and because i like changing i
agreed and tried SuSe first i was a liitle confused but then after
reading a few TuTs i learned about the standard stuff
It makes me angry when i hear people like my class mates say that
Windows is best and linux is too complicated to understand they dont
try at all
The problem is that only a small amount of people in Jordan know that
windows xp costed at its beginnings about 300 Dollar and its full of
bugs for example see Windows Vista (the biggest bug on earth) and that
Linux is Opensource and Flexibel.
I have a few questions
1.which distribution do u advice for beginners like me i heard that
Ubuntu is good
2.Which GUI is best (for beginners) i h worked with KDE is there a
better one
3.Where can i get Live cds in Jordan
These were my questions i hope u can answer these
