Hi John,
solved the problem :)
I installed Jonas services with a nt service installer which uses JNI 1.1.
I patched the installer to use JNI 1.2 and everything was right. The problem is that 
jni 1.1 doesn't
recognise (or I think so)  the
-Djava.class.path options and I haven't found any way to put classes in the user 
classpath. It seems it
just uses the bootstrap classloader
(which is null).
